For special recognition by the Health Policy Commission for providing integrated behavioral healthcare. Yogman Pediatrics is one of the first pediatric practices in Massachusetts to receive this recognition.

2016 Boston Children's Museum's Nan Bennett Kay Great Friends to Kids Award - Dr. Michael Yogman
Presented to Dr. Michael W. Yogman. The Nan Bennett Kay Great Friends to Kids Award was created by the Boston Children's Museum to honor powerful advocates for children and youth in education, sports, nutrition or the arts, whose values, style and persistence evoke Nan's spirit and memory. Nan Bennett Kay was an advocate for children and past chair of the Museum's board. In 2013 the CEO of the Boston Children's Museum and Dr. Yogman represented the Museum at the White House to receive the Outstanding Museum Award.
2015 Inaugural Whole Child Award - Dr. Michael Yogman
Dr. Michael W. Yogman, M.D., FAAP, of Cambridge, Mass., received the Simms/Mann Whole Child Award from the Simms/Mann Institute. The award honors leadership in the field of medicine and pursuit of a whole child approach in caring for children and their families. The institute's mission is to develop and implement innovative programs and resources that address the complex challenges of the 21st century in the areas of education, health and wellness, and art and culture. The Children's Book Council's annual meeting, held at the City College Graduate Center on September 17, was particularly notable this year, as it marked the final meeting of Robin Adelson's tenure as executive director of the CBC. Betsy Groban, CBC board chair, thanked Adelson for her "hard, creative work" over the previous "eight transformative years" at the CBC, during which she raised national awareness of children’s books. The event's guest speaker, Dr. Michael Yogman, addressed the inherent value of play in early childhood development and beyond.
